Iran to Hold Int'l Gold, Jewelry, Precious Stones Expo Mid February


TEHRAN (FNA)- The 6th International Gold, Jewelry, Precious Stones, Clock and Watch Exhibition is due to be held in Tehran later this month.
The exhibition will be held in Tehran International Trade Fair on February 13-16.

Executive director of the exhibit, Masoud Attarian said that the exhibition will seek to create competition in production and export of the precious metals.

He said that the exhibit aims to help the producers and exporters and service providers get acquainted with modern equipment and technologies of gold and jewelry and introduce Iranian products.

The exhibition will be held in area measuring 10,000 square meters by the Union of Gold, Silver and Precious Stones Producers and Exporters, he said.

Attarian further noted that 120 Iranian and five foreign companies from Turkey, Thailand and Switzerland are participating in the upcoming event.
