Top 10 Gold Producing Countries In The World


75% of the total gold production is produced by just 20 countries.it is calculated by the highest rank country that produce the largest amount of gold annually.This year top 10 countries are not released yet, so we’re are going to discuss the top 10 countries that produced gold last year.

The top 10 countries in gold production are:

1-China

-china, the mine production of china last year was 403 tons, and the Official gold holdings were 1,054.1 tons, this led china to be in the 1st country in gold production for the sixth year.

2-Australia

-Australia last year produced a total of 250 tons and Official gold holdings were 79.9 tons which make it in the second place.

3- United States

The U.S mine production last year was 230 tons and the Official gold holdings were 8,133.5 tons.

4- Russia

Russia took the 4rth place last year, the mine production was 205 tons and Official gold holdings were 937.8 tons.

5- South Africa

South Africa’s gold production last year was 170 tons and the Official holdings were 125 tons.

6- Peru

Peru comes in the 6th place after South Africa, last year it produced 165 tons and 34.7 tons gold holdings.

7-Canada

The official holdings of Canada last year were 3.4 tons and the mine production was 102 tons which shows that the gold production is not as high as they were.

8- Indonesia

Last year Indonesia’s total gold reserves were estimated at 3,000 tons, and the gold holdings of 73.1 tons which make a total of 3.7%.

9- Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan last year produced a total of 90 tons.

10- Ghana

Ghana comes in the last place which makes a total of gold holdings 8.7 tons and 89 tons of production.
